Shawn Boggs

No one budgets for marital counseling, yet nearly all marriages will face significant difficulties.  The costs of attorneys fees, child and spousal support, and broken lives make the cost of counseling small, especially compared to the joy of a transformed marriage. And what is it worth to you and to have your depression and anxiety lifted or to be freed from that secret addiction, robbing you of your joy and confidence?

Now is the time to invest in making real changes that bring renewed hope and confidence.

By the second appointment, I will develop a Plan of Care that will help you:

  1. Have a good estimate of the number of visits you will need to complete treatment.
  2. Know the cost of your care.
  3. Setup a schedule that will work for both of us.
  4. Create hope and structure for a successful counseling experience.

Therapy will not feel like patch work. You will never wonder how much longer treatment will last or if we are making progress. We will assess your progress frequently to make sure we are on track with your goals. This approach, and my care for you, will create a very satisfying experience. It will make your investment well worth it.

Untitled-1 Shawn Boggs Counseling PLLC of Grapevine, TX, was founded in 2011, when Shawn decided to open his own counseling center. He is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and has over 20 years of clinical experience. Though he specializes in marital distress and pornography addiction, his services extend to treating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, premarital counseling (Prepare Enrich Test), self-esteem, family therapy, and singles’ concerns.

After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies at Ohio Valley College, he received a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. His clinical experience has included working at Recor Detention Facility, Christianworks for Children, and Las Colinas Counseling Center.

Nearly two decades of helping people has given him keen insights he can draw upon when treating new patients. The process begins with a free, 10-minute phone consultation. After determining if counseling is the right step, we outline a Plan of Care that breaks down how many appointments you will need and what they will consist of. All of our sessions will be scheduled in advance for our mutual convenience.

The relief you need is a phone call away. You cannot afford another moment of battling alone. All we ask is that you approach our services with an open heart and an open mind. Pick up the phone and call us today to get started!
